A world of knowledge is at your fingertips at the MWR Library. This program connects you to a world of ideas, information, ane experiences through multi-facted experiences and materials. We support military education, promote information literacy, and foster self-enrichment, recreation, and leisure for all through our comprehensive services.

The U.S. Navy General Library Program, combined with other military forces, has developed an easier way to access various free online library resources. These resources are available to all active-duty service members, retirees, U.S. civilians, and family members that support them on bases around the world. Check the MWR Library's website.

Authorized patrons may borrow various items from the library:

• Books: unlimited - 3 weeks
• Audiobooks: unlimited - 3 weeks
• DVDs, Bluray:10 at a time - 3 weeks
• Music CD: 10 at a time - 3 weeks
• Video Games: unlimited - 3 weeks
• Board Games: unlimited - 3 weeks

Patrons are allowed two renewals per item, provided it is not on hold for another patron.
Renewals may be made in person, by telephone, or online prior to the due date.
In compliance with our regulation, we cannot charge for overdue items. However,
patrons with overdue item(s) will not be able to check out any new materials until the overdue item(s) have been returned.

LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS MUST BE REPORTED AND RESTITUTION MADE.

Story Time

Bring your little ones to the new Early Literacy program, where stories, music, words
and movement are brought to life. Come and learn with us the ?ve practices of the Early Literacy Initiative: TALK, SING, READ, WRITE AND PLAY! Reservations required. Spaces are limited. All children must be accompanied by a
parent or caregiver.

The MWR Library has a Research Media Center in which customers can access the internet for personal, educational and research purposes. Patrons may also access our subscription databases, and get involved in a world of knowledge. Each computer contains Microsoft Office and is attached to both a color and black & white printer.

Inter-Library Loan is now available with all Navy Libraries in Europe. Books may be obtained from Naples, Sigonella, and Bahrain. In addition, if you are going TDY to any of those locations, you will be able to checkout books through your account in Rota. Please contact the Library for more information.
